We have variety of rooms to hire within the Turramurra Ave complex.
The Church
The church is designed to seat 400, with two operable walls able to be opened to provide 700 seats in all. We currently have 109 comfortable four-seat pews. As well as regular services, weddings, funerals and other special services, the church is regularly used for secular events and has proved particularly suitable for classical concerts.
The Chapel
The Chapel is the former Turramurra Methodist Church and is the oldest church building still used for worship in Turramurra. It is used for regular communion services, prayer meetings and Sunday Kid's Club worship. It is also in demand for weddings owing to its intimate and traditional atmosphere. It contains fourteen 6-seat pews and has room for additional seating. back
Fellowship Hall
The Fellowship Hall is a multi-purpose hall used for larger meetings, youth activities, dinners and many other functions. back
Lounge
The lounge has comfortable armchairs and round cafe-style tables and is primarily for informal fellowship. It is sometimes used for meetings but it should be remembered that it is also a major thoroughfare, and contains the pay phone and church pigeon-holes. back
Kitchen
The kitchen opens on to the lounge through a servery and is equipped with a heavy duty oven, cooktop and dishwasher. back
Skylight and Colonnade Rooms
The Skylight Room and Colonnade Room are meeting rooms and may also be used as additional church seating by opening the operable partitions. back
Garden Room
The Garden Room is a meeting room and is equipped with a self-contained kitchenette along one wall for serving light refreshments. back
Deck, Colonnade and Courtyard
The Deck opens off the lounge and is partly covered and a popular fellowship area in fine weather. The Colonnade and Courtyard provide an open air fellowship space, particularly popular after weddings. The colonnade provides a sheltered route to the church, appreciated by brides in wet weather. back
